Why absolute zero must called 273K?

I am sure you are/were not a science student. Absolute zero is "0 K" ie "zero K" and not "273 K" ! Plot graph of temp vs volume and it will cut the temp line (on X- axis) at -273 c. To obtain absolute temp add 273 to -273 it will come to be 0c And thats why absolute zero is 0 K and not 273 K.

i agree, that what Mumkung says, is a misunderstanding. it so happens that 273K = 0 degrees Celsius (C) or in other words: the melting point of ice. the degrees are calculated the same in the K (Kelvin) scale as in the C (Celsius) scale. therefore: 373 K = 100 degrees Celsius, the temperature of boiling water.

Hola amigos, disculpen que los corrija pero el cero absoluto 0°K es la temperatura a la que la materia tendría la minima energía posible; es decir su energía térmica vendría a ser cero y es equivalente a la fórmula K=273+°C. Visto eso el cero absoluto sería equivalante a -273°C. Donde los electrones del átomo estarían detenido y ni siquieran vibrarian.
